An established watch manufacturer and exporter is looking for a skilled Watch Engineer to join their team. You will lead the technical design, development, and production optimization of watch components and packaging, bridging product concept with factory manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities / 工作職責
Component Design & Optimisation: Design and refine watch parts (cases, dials, crowns, hands, straps, movements, packaging) to ensure performance, durability, and precision.
Technical CAD Drafting: Create precise 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Manufacturing Feasibility (DFM): Partner with internal QC and mainland suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure components meet mass-production standards.
Technical Documentation: Prepare engineering specifications, component drawings, testing reports, and project records.
Requirements:
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Strong technical knowledge of watch component structures, materials, and production workflows.
Familiar with quality testing methods, fitting standards, and water-resistance tolerances.
Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin for supplier and team communication.
The remuneration package is commensurate with competency & experience.
