As part of their continued growth, our client is urgently seeking 1-2 Project Engineers to lead toy product development in close coordination with suppliers in Mainland China. This role involves managing the entire development process — from concept design to final production — while ensuring timely launches, cost efficiency, and high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate supplier quotations and identify opportunities for optimising tooling and reducing costs

• Assess engineering samples and provide clear, actionable modification instructions to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance

• Provide technical support and coordinate development activities between the head office and external suppliers

• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring a timely transition from development to production

• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and failure investigations to support informed product development decisions

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline

• At least 5 years of experience in toy engineering is a plus

• Strong knowledge of soft toys, hard toys, mechanical and electronic toy components

• Proficient in toy product structure, mechanism design, material selection, and manufacturing processes

• Familiar with EU toy safety and compliance standards

• Open to exploring new product categories and embracing challenges

• Proficient in English and Mandarin

• Willing to travel occasionally
