Business/Native Level Japanese-speaking Assistant Manager (Japan-based Logistic Solution Co.)
Details
Duties:
- Managing Japanese key accounts, including quotations and regulatory research.
- Solving problems and optimizing workflows to enhance business efficiency and lead office improvement projects.
- Coordinating bookings, shipments, and deliveries between clients and internal teams.
- Setting pricing for air, ocean freight, and local charges.
- Acting as an intermediary among Japanese clients, HQ, other branches, and local teams.
- Troubleshooting and providing interpretation support.
Monthly/Quarterly Tasks:
- Preparing monthly quotations.
- Leading inter-branch meetings.
- Creating financial reports and forecasts.
Skill Set (Must):
- Logistics experience in a trading company or manufacturer.
- Experience working cross-functionally with other companies, departments, or locations to solve problems.
- Experience working in Japan with a strong understanding of Japanese culture and practices
- Japanese (native/business level); English (business level: capable of document comprehension, emails, meetings, technical guidance, and negotiations).
Skill Set (Preferred):
- Experience with numerical analysis.
- Cantonese or Mandarin language skills are a plus.
- Experience in improving work quality and efficiency.
- Proactivity in assessing situations and initiating actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
職務内容:
- 日系顧客窓口(見積・輸出入関連問い合わせ対応)
- 業務品質、効率改善に向けた企画、実行
- フォワーディング業務(荷主、船社とのブッキング調整、スケジュール管理など)
- 見積管理(価格交渉、コスト管理、見積提示)
- 顧客/日本本社や他拠点と香港人スタッフの間に入ったコミュニケーション
- トラブル対応(スケジュール遅延、貨物ダメージ、書類作成など)
- 通訳、翻訳(日本語↔英語)
- 月次見積作成
- 別拠点との会議主催
- 財務諸表、報告資料作成、報告(売上実績・予測管理)
必須スキル:
- 商社、メーカーでの物流経験
- 他社・他部署・他拠点などと横断的に働き、問題解決してきた経験
- 日本での勤務経験があり、日本文化や慣習への深い理解を持っています
- 日本語(ネイティブ); 英語(ビジネス:資料読解・メール・会議・技術指導・交渉に対応できるレベル)
望ましいスキル:
- 計数分析の経験
- 広東語・中国語スキル尚可
- 業務品質、効率改善経験
- 現状を把握し、品質・効率改善に向けて自ら考えて動ける積極性
